Fantastic, HONEST service, start to finish

I needed to sell my mother's house after she passed away and contacted several agents in Pinner and arranged for them all to come on the same day to look at the house and give their thoughts on price and strategy. One came in much, much higher than all the rest with an amazing valuation but equally staggering commission - It just didn't seem realistic and so I discounted them as an option. Andrew Pearce were well priced commission wise but seemed to value the property at a fair bit less than the others. The third offered a better valuation and many promises. Needless to say, I fell for the better price and promises of quick sale, easy transaction, lots of people ready on their books, etc. Within days I regretted it as after just a handful of viewings I was asked to lower the price due to feedback from the potential buyers. It sounds like a joke but it isn't I assure you. I pointed out they set the price and I had expected them to know the market which couldn't have changed that dramatically in a couple of weeks but all I got back was a shrug. I asked to be let out of contract due to what I considered miss-selling but they insisted I be held to it. In the end, it took a few months to leave and I subsequently re-contacted Andrew Pearce to see if they could help. They were as open and clear about what the house was worth second time around as the first. Their fees were competitive and their strategy made sense. I explained all the problems I had encountered with the previous agent and they assured me it would not be the same experience with them. They were right; the process was easy, the advice straighforwards and the attention given to the project, first rate. They even organised an emergency plumber when a pipe burst. The previous estate agent had not noticed the gushing water sound nor the dripping ceiling it seemed but Andrew Pearce did, the first time they went into the house. It still took a few months to close the deal but I never had to lift a finger, only to comment on potential offers and how the process was ticking along. The night and day contrast to the other agent cannot be overstated and I just wish I hadn't been duped with unrealistic promises and a high valuation. I dealt with a number of staff at Andrew Pearce all of whom were courteous and attentive. Special thanks to Joe Prosser who was a man on a mission when it came to securing the right deal in a reasonable timeframe. I never had a problem contacting him directly and any required responses were always quickly delivered. All in all, I can't recommend them enough.
